I went further south the Weinstrasse compared to where i usually paint. There the foothills of the Hardt mountains, known as Pfälzer Wald, strech more gradually into the Rhine valley and add to the variety and character of the vineyards.

Ich war heute weiter südlich entlang der Weinstrasse. Die Ausläufer des Hardtgebirges fliessen sanft ins Rheintal und geben den Weinbergen dort viel landschaftliche Vielfalt und Charakter.
